The ABC is recognising the significance of ANZAC Day 2010 by creating ABC ANZAC Day – a one-off event broadcast on digital radio.
On April 25, a very special 24 hour-only digital radio station will be broadcasting – ABC ANZAC Day – collaboration between ABC Radio National and ABC Local Radio showcasing their best ANZAC Day content.
In addition to the event coverage, ABC Radio has searched through its extensive archival material and ABC ANZAC Day will include replays of the Boyer Lecture by General Peter Cosgrove, a special Speaking Out program hosted by Rhianna Patrick and the documentaries Going Back to Vietnam, Changi Diary, Narelle, Nursing for an Empire and Gallipoli Voices.
